Suprise suprise the greed continues. Order a quarter chicken dinner for delivery. Usually pay just over $18.00. Now it's over $23.00. We are done Swiss Chalet!!!

Waiting 7 days. Still no refund.

I placed an order for delivery online. It was to be delivered to my daughter. The order came to $51.75 I was notified by the driver that the order had been directed by their online service to the wrong store. He would not be delivering it because it is too far. Told me to call head office if I didn't like it. I contacted the complaints dept. at head office. They transferred me to the store that refused to deliver. Told me it should have gone to a different location. He said the only thing I could do is to reorder at that store. Talked to that store. I was told they would do the delivery. But they would have to place a new order and cancel the original one. They debited my bank account again. But didn't credit my account for the first order. So I am out $51.75 and have been trying ever day to get my money back for their mistake and double charging in me for the same order. Every day I have to repeat everything again. And I'm told someone will call by the next day. No one has called me yet! I just want my money back for the double charge. Every call to them I have to start over repeating the same thing. Asking, begging for me my money to be returned to me. I have been told Head office will take care of this. I have been told to call the store that did the first order. I have been told to call the store that delivered the replacement order. Just keep getting the run around. I just want my money returned that was double charged. That's just theft!! I am a disabled senior on a very fixed income. I can't afford to lose $51.75 I have explained all of this numerous times. They don't care! As far as I am concerned, they have STOLEN my money. Stressful and disgusted.

Absolute ripp off

for 35.00 dollars we got a piece of chicken thar woodnt feed my cat the fries where cold and woood not feed enough for one person the ribs where dry and again not enough to feed one person let alone two the pie was totally mangled in the container you have totally gone down hill I will never haver your product again Dan 416 419 **** dbdan251@***.com

Got treated badly at Cobourg Ontario location got yelled at told to leave with my service dog called head office was told they get back to me never heard back been 2 weeks bad service all around.

NWorse customer service from Cobourg Ontario location Call the head office spoke with them Was told they get back to me I still havent heard from anyone Also left a messsge with the manager at the store about his assistant manager who yelled and kicked me out with my service dog.. No word from anyone Never go to any Swiss chalet again That night I still got my food got home was cold and nothing what I ordered didnt eat it wasnt sure if the assistant manage spit in it the way I was treated was cruel and disgusting.. Dont ever go There order taker tho was awesome she kept apologizing for her manager I felt really bad for her..

Complaint

Complaint , took my mom to dinner , only to have a whole soft drink dumped in my from waitress , all my clothes were soaked in pop including my foot ware , manager says well ur still alive right ? Sarcastic and the continued to degrade me I drove over an hour to take my mother out for Mothers Day And now thats not happening as Im sitting in sticky clothing and have to drive back home over an hour , happy Mothers Day to me I guess Oh the manager did say because on me being soaked , what do you want a couple bucks for laundry ? Yet another insult This is at the belleville ont Restaurant

Felt robbed

Got home with our drive through order from the Timmins location and the quarter chicken meal was missing the chicken (only the sides of green beans and bun was there...also the wrong bun), the bacon Cheeseburger was missing the bacon and the sandwich combo's fries were very cold and soggy. Didn't feel like diving back for the missing parts and get the rest cold.

One staff with no mask when serving customers

I want to complain one of the staff working in Swiss Chalet (5070 Hwy 7), who is an Asian girl with long and blond hair serving at the cashier or take away counter. I noticed that she didn't wear mask when she was serving customers. I understand that no mask is currently approved by law. However as an ISO restaurant and a food service provider, you should have a responsibility to manage good quality of service and to maintain high standard of hygiene when serving customers. Therefore I think the restaurant should guide that staff to wear mask when serving food and customer immediately

Just tried a can of your Swiss chalet chicken soup and I think whoever made it should go back to cooking school!!! The soup was hands down the foulest thing Ive ever attempted to eat couldnt eat it period flushed it down the toilet!!!

User's recommendation: Don’t buy the soup you’d be better off throwing your money out your car window so a homeless person can find it and buy some real food with it!!

2 days ago my husband and myself entered your Rutherford restaurant to have dinner after trying 2 weeks straight to have dinner it was always closed w had coupons for 20 dollar discount we received with our festive meal manager did not accept our coupons unacceptable they should have honored our coupons how we support our restaurants when we get this type of feed back from a manager very disappointed Wil think twice at eating at Swiss chalet we were frequent customers but very upset

Garbage in salads

The quarter chicken dark meat dinner was not edible. the salad had browned lettuce and filled about 1/2 it's tiny container packed in a huge paper bag. The salad had garbage in it. It had wilted slimy peels of cucumber but no actual cucumber. Literally pieces of what people peel off. The chicken was not throughly cooked but burning hot inside and ice cold outside which suggested to me it had been not cooked right, then older chicken re-used. Again it was packaged in a huge huge box and bag falsely indicating it was some kind of big order. There was no sauce in the bag. I was billed extra for a salad when it was replacement for fries. I called and called and called the location to have no answer whatsoever. It was extremely hard to find anywhere to follow up and no direct phone number to the head office was visible. It is against the law to deceive or mislead to sell something. The health and safety standards did not appear to me to be met. The accountability required to run a business does not seem to have been met. Sad thing is this company run Harveys, and a few other franchises. I will be following up with Consumer and Corporate Affairs, Health and Safety, and Better Business. NO, I should not pay 14$ for a reheated piece of half raw chicken and some old vegetables that anyone I know would compost not eat.

This is BS...I ordered food from Swiss Chalet in Timmins ON and never received it...restaurant said that the driver picked it up...I have paid for it and got nothing...very angry
